Job Description

Responsibility

  • Assist in the development and execution of innovative menu items
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Contribute to inventory management and cost control efforts
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff

Experience and Qualifications

  • Certification in culinary arts
  • Experience cooking in a well-established restaurant or full-service hotel
  • Valid Food Handler's permit
  • Physical fitness and stamina
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
  • Adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
