Responsibility

• Lead guided tours showcasing Dominica’s natural beauty and cultural heritage
• Provide accurate, engaging information tailored to guest interests
• Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout each excursion
• Maintain equipment and prepare supplies for each outing
• Communicate tour details with front desk and operations team
• Adjust plans to accommodate weather, guest ability, or special requests
• Promote sustainable tourism practices and environmental awareness

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a Tour Guide or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Dominica’s geography, history, and ecosystems
• Excellent storytelling, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and comfortable hiking or walking long distances
• First aid certification is a plus
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset
• Calm, responsible, and adaptable to varying group dynamics
