Security Officer

Job Description

Springfield Trading Ltd. is looking for a reliable Security Officer with strong observation skills and a professional attitude. The successful candidate will help protect company property, monitor daily operations, and respond effectively to incidents while maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.

Responsibility

• Patrol property regularly to monitor and secure the premises
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure security standards are maintained
• Sound alarms and seek assistance during emergencies when necessary
• Prevent theft, loss, and damage by reporting irregularities and confronting violators
• Restrain trespassers in accordance with company and legal procedures
• Direct and control traffic within the premises to support smooth operations
• Monitor and operate building systems and security equipment controls
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
• Prepare incident reports and communicate security concerns to management

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a related position preferred
• Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
