Quality Assurance and Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the overall housekeeping standards of all guest accommodations and public amenities, including the reception area, dining rooms, meeting rooms, spa, gym, offices, and storage areas.

Responsibility

• Inspecting guest accommodations and all public amenities for cleanliness and order.
• Performing or assisting with cleaning duties as necessary as the housekeeping team is built up or in case of staff absence.
• Training and coaching housekeeping staff in specific cleaning and accommodations tasks and in completion of daily schedules.
• Conducting new employee training.
• Coordinating cleaning and maintenance schedules according to guest needs.
• Verifying completion of laundry and inventory restocking.
• Managing supply inventory and monitoring storage procedures.
• Developing work schedules and coordinating staff work assignments in conjunction with hotel management.
• Conducting regular tours of work areas, reviewing housekeeping efforts of staff and checking for productivity in completion of assignments.
• Providing input to management for team member selection process and for associate performance reviews.

Experience and Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of word and excel.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to clean and perform housekeeping duties in a lodging facility.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong work ethic.
• Must be able to communicate, read and write in English.
• Composure to respond calmly to unexpected changes in occupancy, scheduling, or team member attendance.
