Job Description
Fort Young Hotel invites applications for the position of Accountant, a pivotal role ensuring accurate bookkeeping, compliance with financial policies, and timely reporting. Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibility
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements and other accounts
- Monitor and control budgets and expenses
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
- Support audits and provide required documentation
- Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
