President Burton also addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude for Pascal’s longevity and emphasizing the important role elderly citizens continue to play in Dominican society. She encouraged families and communities to continue supporting and valuing senior citizens, noting that older persons possess invaluable wisdom, knowledge and life experiences that can guide younger generations.
