A road traffic accident in the early hours of the morning has claimed the life of a motorcyclist from Grand Bay, marking another fatal incident on Dominica’s roads for the year.
Dominica Police have confirmed that the deceased was a male rider who sustained fatal injuries following a collision involving his motorcycle. The incident occurred along a public roadway in the south of the island. However, investigators have not yet released the exact location pending notification of relatives and completion of preliminary inquiries.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival. The motorcycle involved in the crash sustained extensive damage, indicating the impact’s force.
