Regional Contractors Inc. is hiring Steel Benders to prepare and install reinforcement for major construction projects. This role requires precision in cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars according to drawings. Applicants must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team delivering strong, durable structures across Dominica.

Responsibility

• Cut, bend, and shape steel bars according to specifications
• Assemble steel reinforcements and tie bars in place
• Interpret and follow technical drawings for reinforcement placement
• Collaborate with masons and carpenters on-site
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment used for bending
• Ensure reinforcement work meets quality and safety standards

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Steel Bender in construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong knowledge of steel cutting, bending, and tying techniques
• Good physical strength and stamina for heavy-duty tasks
• Attention to accuracy and quality in all reinforcement work
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Commitment to safety regulations on construction sites
