Job Description

Join the hospitality team at Ocean Oasis Hotel Dominica as a Restaurant Server and help create enjoyable dining experiences for local and international guests. This role suits an energetic professional with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service.

Responsibility

• Greet guests warmly and present menus
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen/bar
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, following proper sequence
• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns immediately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining area
• Handle payment transactions and issue receipts if needed
• Refill water, beverages, and condiments throughout service
• Assist with resetting tables for the next service

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in restaurant or hotel service is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask and work under pressure during busy hours
• Friendly, professional attitude and well-groomed appearance
• Basic math and POS system knowledge
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
