At InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa, reliable plumbing keeps every guest room and facility operating smoothly. The Plumber installs, repairs, and maintains water supply and drainage systems while ensuring equipment functions safely and efficiently across the property.

Responsibility

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
• Inspect pipes, valves, drains, and fittings for faults or leaks
• Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs
• Install or replace pipes, fixtures, and plumbing components
• Ensure systems comply with safety and plumbing standards
• Read technical drawings and follow installation specifications
• Maintain tools, materials, and plumbing equipment

Experience and Qualifications

• Certificate or technical training in Plumbing
• Minimum 2-3 years’ proven experience as a plumber
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergencies
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and passionate about customer service, good command over written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset
