Fresh Market is hiring an experienced Meat Cutter to prepare and portion meats with precision and care. You’ll trim, slice, and package products while ensuring food safety standards are met. This role suits skilled professionals who value accuracy, cleanliness, and delivering high-quality cuts that consistently meet customer satisfaction standards.

Responsibility

• Cut, trim, debone, and portion meats according to specifications.
• Prepare and package meat products for display or customer orders.
• Maintain cutting tools and equipment in safe, clean condition.
• Follow strict hygiene and food safety guidelines.
• Assist in stocking, labeling, and rotating meat inventory.
• Monitor temperatures and ensure cold storage compliance.
• Provide friendly service and respond to customer requests.

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a butcher or meat cutter (preferred).
• Knowledge of meat handling, storage, and safety standards.
• Physical stamina for lifting, standing, and operating equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual, with strong work ethic.
