Job Description
Outsource Development & Recruitment is hiring, on behalf of its client, a Marine Team Leader to spearhead field operations in marine conservation. This pivotal role requires a motivated professional to coordinate monitoring, research, and community engagement activities. Based in the field, the successful candidate will strengthen sustainable marine practices while ensuring coastal biodiversity and local livelihoods thrive under dedicated management.
Responsibility
- Supervise daily marine fieldwork activities.
- Conduct surveys, monitoring, and ecological data collection.
- Train and coordinate local field staff and volunteers.
- Implement community outreach and stakeholder engagement.
- Support marine protected area planning and enforcement.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Prepare technical and progress reports for leadership.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Experience in marine conservation and resource management.
- Field-based leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong reporting, data collection, and analysis skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in variable conditions.
- Effective communicator with community engagement skills.
