Job Description
Secret Bay is hiring a Junior Carpenter who values teamwork and the expansion of practical trade skills. The position focuses on helping with woodwork projects, general maintenance, and building tasks, providing steady hands-on training within a luxury hotel setting.
Responsibility
- Assist the Senior Carpenter with daily carpentry tasks and assigned projects
- Support repairs, renovations, and general maintenance work
- Help construct and install furniture, decks, and carpentry structures
- Prepare tools, materials, and work areas before tasks begin
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of carpentry workspaces
- Follow instructions, drawings, and safety guidelines accurately
Experience and Qualifications
- Basic carpentry experience
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in carpentry
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Willingness to learn and follow guidance from senior staff
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet task deadlines
