Inventory Officer

Job Description

H.H.V Whitchurch & Co Ltd. is seeking a dependable Inventory Officer to help maintain organized stock systems, prepare accurate inventory reports, and support day-to-day operational efficiency. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-moving retail settings while balancing analytical tasks with practical inventory duties.

Responsibility

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records
• Receive, check, and organize incoming stock deliveries
• Conduct stock counts and report inventory discrepancies
• Update inventory management systems and prepare reports
• Assist with stock replenishment and inventory tracking
• Ensure storage areas remain clean, organized, and secure
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members on stock availability
• Support daily retail and warehouse inventory operations

Experience and Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is an asset
• Previous experience in inventory control, retail operations, or a similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Honest, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with accurate reporting ability
• Physically capable of performing inventory-related duties
