Job Description

This Inventory Control Supervisor opportunity is ideal for someone who can balance leadership, reporting, and inventory coordination within a fast-paced workplace. H.H.V Whitchurch & Co Ltd. seeks a reliable professional committed to maintaining operational efficiency, stock accuracy, and team accountability.

Responsibility

  • Supervise daily inventory control operations and stock management activities
  • Monitor stock levels and investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Conduct inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliations
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory items
  • Ensure inventory records and reports remain accurate and updated
  • Support and guide inventory staff and warehouse teams
  • Monitor inventory movement using inventory/POS systems
  • Coordinate with management regarding stock shortages and replenishment needs

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in inventory control, retail operations, or a supervisory role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and leadership abilities
  • Honest, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including inventory/POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills
