Job Description
Stepping into the Finance Supervisor role at Unicomer Dominica means guiding a busy finance team while protecting accuracy across every report and transaction. You’ll manage daily workflows, support compliance efforts, and provide leadership that keeps the department operating smoothly. This position suits someone confident in decision-making and passionate about building strong financial systems.
Responsibility
- Supervise finance staff and coordinate daily accounting workflows.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Monitor compliance with tax, labour, and regulatory requirements.
- Review reconciliations, payroll data, and financial entries for accuracy.
- Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements.
- Manage inventory and POS-related financial records.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and departmental planning.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration or related field or Level 2 ACCA/ CGA/ CMA
- Over three (3) years’ experience working in the Accounting Field.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory experience.
- Experience in a retail environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of Tax and Labour Laws specific to payroll function.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of accounting, inventory and POS software packages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
