Job Description

A strong work ethic and passion for food are essential for this position at Cozie Corner. The successful Cook will prepare menu items, maintain cleanliness, support kitchen teamwork, and help ensure guests receive fresh, high-quality meals every day.

Responsibility

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Prepare ingredients and maintain food preparation stations
• Monitor inventory levels and report supply needs
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
• Minimize food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients
• Support team members during busy service periods

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and cooking
• Minimum two years' experience in a kitchen or culinary environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good hygiene and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork abilities
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and quality standards
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to excellence
