Created in 1965, The Alliance Française de la Dominique is geared at transmitting the French language and culture in Dominica. Since 1994, the Alliance française has is own building located close to the Botanical garden and the Bath Estate bridge. The building was financed by the French government and the association is run by a local comitee.
