Conrad Cyrus
Conrad Cyrus was a Dominican politician elected as the Independent Member of Parliament for the Morne Jaune/Rivière Cyrique Constituency in the 21 July 1980 general election. In a constituency with 815 registered voters, he secured 703 votes, winning decisively even as the Dominica Freedom Party achieved a sweeping national majority with 17 out of 21 seats. This reflects a strong independent mandate and the constituency’s distinctive political character in a pivotal post-independence electoral contest
