The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Social Services wishes to advise the public of the following changes to the fogging schedule as a result of the persistent rainy conditions:
- Canefield: Today, Friday, December 8 at 5PM
- Goodwill: Tomorrow, Saturday, December 9 at 5AM
Residents in the listed communities are reminded to keep their windows and doors open during these times, for proper dispersion of the fog.
Residents are also reminded to take the necessary precautions, including vacating vulnerable residents, particularly the elderly and those with medical conditions such as asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory illnesses, that could be adversely impacted by the fog. Alternatively, vulnerable persons can remain in a closed room until the process of fogging is complete.
