The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Blue and Green Economy in collaboration with DEXIA wishes to advise livestock farmers that there is a limited supply of livestock feed for sale on island. Chicken layer is limited to 10 bags per farmer. Chicken starter, broiler, grower as well as pig grower are each limited to 5 bags per farmer. Each 50 lb. bag costs $50.00.
Payments are to be made at DEXIA’s Commercial Warehouse on the Bayfront and Feed are to be collected at DEXIAs Multi-Purpose Pack House in Goodwill behind of the AID Bank.
To facilitate the purchase of this feed, both locations will operate extended hours up to 7pm tonight Thursday 18th January 2024.
The Ministry wants to assure all farmers that more feed will be available early next week and thanks all farmers for their patience and understanding.
