Phase One of the $6.6M Bath Estate Valley Road Project Progressing Steadily

Phase one of the $6.6 million Bath Estate Valley Road Enhancement Project is moving forward with strong momentum, with engineers reporting consistent progress toward completion in the first quarter of 2026. The upgrade forms part of a wider effort to improve road safety, strengthen slope stability, and modernize critical infrastructure in one of Roseau’s busiest residential corridors.

Current works include the construction of major retaining walls, expanded drainage systems, and key slope stabilization measures designed to protect the roadway from erosion and storm-related hazards. Excavation and foundation work have already been completed in several sections, and concrete placements for the main retaining structures are advancing.

The engineering team noted that, despite intermittent weather challenges, the pace and quality of work remain on schedule. The road enhancement is expected to significantly ease congestion and improve the overall driving experience for residents and commuters in the Bath Estate Valley area.

Local feedback has been positive, with community members expressing optimism that the strengthened roadway will reduce flooding risks and provide safer passage throughout the year.

Once phase one is delivered, the second phase of the project will begin, continuing the transformation of the corridor and further enhancing traffic flow and structural resilience.
