The Castle Bruce Family & Friends Reunion 2025 officially launched the week of August 10–17, drawing locals, returning Dominicans, and visitors to reconnect with community and culture in the scenic eastern village of Castle Bruce.
At the opening ceremony, Parliamentary Representative for the Castle Bruce Constituency Octavia Alfred encouraged attendees to reflect on their identity and communal responsibility. “It is a time for us to reflect on who we are, where we have come from, and where we want to go,” she said, highlighting the reunion’s deeper significance. She also called on participants to deepen bonds within the community: “Let us share with each other, learn from each other, and strengthen the bonds that hold us together as a people.”
