Job Description

The Dominica Football Association (DFA) invites applications for Technical Officer (Grassroots Football). This key role focuses on fostering grassroots talent through community activities, skill-building events, and operational planning. Candidates should demonstrate strong football knowledge, effective communication skills, and a commitment to advancing grassroots sports in Dominica.

Responsibility

Responsible to develop, coordinate, and implement grassroots activities, to support and activate community volunteers in the growth of grassroots structures and to organize festivals and skill development activities among players.

• Formulate, coordinate, and execute operational plans along with the Technical Department for the grassroots programmes.
• Work with clubs, schools, and communities for the advancement of the grassroots programme.

Experience and Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate’s Degree
• Six CXC subject passes including Mathematics and English
• A degree in a sports discipline would be an added advantage
• Minimum two years of working experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written format
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of the football environment in Dominica
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Valid Class B driver’s license (with access to a vehicle)
