Job Description

As a Tariff Clerk with My Shop Box Dominica, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring correct tariff entries and smooth cargo clearance. The position is ideal for detail-driven individuals with ASYCUDA experience who enjoy structured tasks, problem-solving, and close collaboration with customs personnel. Strong numerical confidence and accuracy will set you apart in this role.

Responsibility

• Prepare, verify, and process tariff classifications and entries.
• Ensure accurate application of customs duties, taxes, and relevant regulations.
• Utilize the ASYCUDA System for data entry, declarations, and verification.
• Liaise with customs officials, brokers, and internal departments to ensure smooth clearance of goods.
• Maintain records, documentation, and reports in compliance with customs requirements.
• Assist with logistics and other operational duties as needed.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) CXC subjects, with passes in Mathematics and English.
• Proficient understanding and practical experience with the ASYCUDA System (mandatory).
• Valid Class C Driver’s License (mandatory).
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in customs brokerage, tariff classification, logistics, or a similar field.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
