Job Description

Are you a compassionate sales leader experienced with generating new business with consumers in Dominica? MASA Assist is looking for a new Sales Manager to develop and execute strategies that will protect more Dominicans from the high costs of emergency medical transportation.

Responsibility

Our new sales manager will oversee the Dominica market and be responsible for sales, retention, and management of sales agents. Additional details include:

  • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives.
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance.
  • Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
  • Generate leads and build and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new business.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics including community engagement, marketing, and advertising proposals.
  • Provide daily report of field sales success and communicate data to superiors.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Permanent residence in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
  • 5+ years of overall sales experience in Dominica, including 2+ years managing salespeople.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Additional preferred qualifications: A bachelor's degree, work experience in the Insurance industry.
