Deliver excellence with every plate. As a Restaurant Server at Ocean Oasis Hotel Dominica, you’ll provide prompt, friendly service, guide guests through the menu, and ensure meals are memorable. This role suits someone polished, proactive, and passionate about elevating dining experiences.
Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and present menus
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen/bar
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, following proper sequence
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining area
- Handle payment transactions and issue receipts if needed
- Refill water, beverages, and condiments throughout service
- Assist with resetting tables for the next service
Experience and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel service is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multitask and work under pressure during busy hours
- Friendly, professional attitude and well-groomed appearance
- Basic math and POS system knowledge
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
