Job Description
The Dominica Social Security invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Research & Investment Officer.
The purpose of this job is to research, gather and analyse investment opportunities, capital and money market trends and developments to advise the Director and Investment Committee—through the Administrator, Finance & Investment—of opportunities to maximize the yield on the Fund.
Experience and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (MSc.) in Finance and Accounting
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in research and investments
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of electronic data processing
- Excellent presentation skills

Social Security is designed to partially replace or supplement income lost by Insured Persons in the event of certain contingencies, including sickness, old age, death, maternity, unemployment, industrial accidents.
