Job Description
Perky's Pizza invites applications from hardworking and dependable individuals interested in supporting restaurant operations behind the scenes. The Porter will assist with cleaning, supply handling, equipment movement, and maintaining organised spaces while contributing to efficient day-to-day activities.
Responsibility
- Clean and sanitize work areas, floors, equipment, and common spaces
- Remove garbage and dispose of waste according to company procedures
- Assist with receiving, moving, and storing deliveries and supplies
- Transport materials, equipment, and products between departments or locations
- Set up and arrange furniture, equipment, or supplies for events and daily operations
- Support team members with general operational tasks as needed
- Assist customers and visitors by providing directions or basic information
- Ensure all assigned areas remain neat, organized, and presentable throughout the day
Experience and Qualifications
- Preferably male
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a consistent work routine

Perky’s Pizza in Roseau is a food service company which began in February 1999. We provide to our customers a variety of Freshly made pizzas, Trinidadian style roti, bussup shot and a variety of drinks inclusive of fresh local juices. Our new location built up to international standards is air-conditioned and comes with a courtyard where customers can enjoy favorable weather out in the open. We maintain a clean environment and our Food service comes with staff who are trained in Food Handling Safety. Our Certificate of Approval from the Environmental Health and Food Safety is hanging on our wall. The ambiance at Perky’s Pizza is further enhanced by certified Food Handlers who are courteous and customer friendly to showcase Perky’s Pizza in Roseau as a place to experience fine dining of wholesome food without trepidation. All of this is complemented by our delivery service for those customers who are unable to come to us.
McBredstong Foods Limited which is part of the Tonge Group of Companies was founded in 1999 by Mr. Curtis Tonge as a fully fledged restaurant, pizzeria, bar and courtyard offering an extremely wide menu to customers. However, over the years the company was streamlined to operate only as Perky’s Pizza. Mr. Curtis Tonge is the Chairman of the Tonge Group of Companies, whilst Perky’s Pizza is Managed by Ms. Valerie Tonge.
