Arthur Waldron Seventh-day Adventist Academy is seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher to inspire healthy lifestyles among students. The ideal candidate brings energy, discipline, and creativity to the classroom and sports field, promoting fitness, teamwork, and Christian values. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy mentoring young people and fostering both physical and spiritual development.

Responsibility

• Deliver structured PE lessons that promote physical development, fitness, and teamwork.
• Organize and supervise sports activities, intramural events, and school competitions.
• Encourage discipline, fair play, and Christian values during instruction.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and adherence to health guidelines.
• Support extracurricular programs and represent the school in sporting events.

Experience and Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Education or a subject in a related field.
• 2+ years working experience in related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
• Knowledgeable of and committed to the philosophy, principles, and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Be familiar with the Seventh-day Adventist Health message.
• Be energetic and creative.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
