Job Description

As a Perishable Attendant at H.H.V Whitchurch & Co Ltd., you’ll be responsible for stocking, rotating, and monitoring perishable goods to guarantee top quality. Perfect for reliable workers who thrive in structured environments, maintain attention to detail, and take pride in upholding food safety and hygiene standards daily.

Responsibility

• Receive, stock, and rotate perishable goods following proper handling procedures
• Monitor product freshness and quality; remove expired or damaged items
• Maintain appropriate temperatures and cleanliness in refrigerated and freezer areas
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times
• Assist customers with product inquiries in a friendly, helpful manner
• Support inventory checks and restocking as needeo

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 10OIbs
• Comfortable working in cold environments (refrigerated/freezer sections)
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Previous experience in grocery or food handling is an asset but not required
