Pantry Cook

Job Description

Fine Foods Inc. is hiring a Pantry Cook to join Fresh Market’s kitchen team. If you thrive on prep work, maintain high standards in cold dish presentation, and work clean under pressure, this role will keep you sharp and busy in one of our most crucial stations.

Responsibility

• Plan, prepare, and present pantry station recipes as per store requests
• Create and modify cold dish recipes while maintaining consistency and quality
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times
• Organize and restock cold prep ingredients and pantry inventory
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned prep areas
• Support daily kitchen operations with accurate food portioning and labeling

Experience and Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a pantry cook or similar kitchen role
• Valid Food Handler’s Certification
• Ability to plan and execute cold dishes with precision
• Familiarity with kitchen protocols and food safety standards
• Computer literacy and ability to adapt to kitchen software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow prep instructions
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
