Arthur Waldron SDA Academy is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join its Roseau campus. This full-time role requires a qualified educator passionate about inspiring students through engaging lessons and strong curriculum design. Responsibility
- Teach mathematics courses aligned with national curriculum standards
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for diverse student needs
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, quizzes, and reports
- Provide additional support to students requiring academic reinforcement
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall instructional program
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development sessions
Experience and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Mathematics
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Qualified Teacher with a background in Mathematics Education
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to foster a positive learning environment
- Experience working with students of various skill levels
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
