Junior Training Technician

Job Description

Dragon Windows seeks a Junior Training Technician ready to learn, assist, and grow within our production team. You’ll gain hands-on experience across factory operations, from operating tools and machinery to ensuring product quality, while contributing to assembly projects and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Responsibility

Reporting to the production manager and supervised by the assistant production manager, the training technician will be responsible for learning and applying skills learnt while working within the production department at various areas on the factory floor. The training technician will also assist the field team or work on projects once assigned as this position will from time to time include limited breakdown and up-keep of the factory when required or necessary.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Ability to work seamlessly in a team environment.
• Willingness to demonstrate active listening skills and follow supervisor’s instructions.
• Ability to correctly identify company product types and styles and ensure the products are well finished and meet required standards.
• Willingness to learn to manage and operate machinery and tools assigned to the production department.
• Ability to assist with small building and assembling a wide range of products offered by the company.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Experience and Qualifications

• Education - a minimum of five (5) CXC subjects including Maths and English would be an asset.
• Clean police record.
• Construction experience is a plus.
