Job Description
Invest Dominica Authority (IDA) requires a suitably qualified professional to join the team in the position of Investment Promotion Officer (IPO). The IPO will report to the Senior Investment Promotion Officer (SIPO) and is expected to assist in the promotion of Dominica to target potential foreign and local investments.
Responsibility
- Promote Investment Opportunities by supporting outreach strategies, identifying potential investors, and representing the organization at trade events and missions.
- Conduct Research and Develop Projects through market analysis, tracking investment trends, and preparing investment-ready proposals and feasibility studies.
- Manage Marketing and Communications by creating and maintaining digital content, running promotional campaigns, and ensuring effective investor messaging across platforms.
- Provide Administrative and Reporting Support by maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating logistics for promotional activities and investor engagements.
Experience and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Trade and Investment, Economics, or another similar and suitable Business-related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in investment promotion, economic development, business development, or related work.
- Additional certification or coursework in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Videography, Content Creation, or Web and Social Media Management.
Benefits and Others
The position is to be filled on a contractual basis for two (2) years, subject to renewal upon decision by the Board of Directors.
