Job Description
Join DOMLEC as an Electrical Supervisor, overseeing daily plant maintenance, coordinating outages, and ensuring equipment reliability while leading staff and maintaining high standards across electrical and electromechanical systems in a demanding industrial environment.
Responsibility
The incumbent supervises and coordinates the day-to-day electrical maintenance activities for the Hydro and Diesel power plants including preventive and corrective maintenance, planned outages and overhauling work activities to support plant reliability and efficiency.
Provides direct supervision to electrical staff and ensures that all maintenance, operational, and installation activities on generation equipment and associated systems are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and standards. Supports the execution of work plans and coordinates with relevant departments to facilitate effective plant operations.
Experience and Qualifications
- A-Level or City and Guilds Certificate in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field. An advanced Diploma in Electrical Maintenance would be an asset.
- Minimum of six (6) years experience in a related industrial setting with considerable exposure to electrical maintenance methods and principles
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Electrical & electronic technology
- Electromechanical technology & instrumentation
- Protection and control systems including Programable Logic Circuits (PLCs) and relay technology etc.
- Supervisory techniques
- A valid driver's license (Class C preferred)
