New Age Residential Care Home in Glanvilla, Portsmouth seeks a dependable and skilled cook to prepare wholesome meals for our residents. If you value punctuality, hygiene, and compassionate service, this full-time role offers stability and immediate placement in a caring environment.

Responsibility

• Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents
• Ensure meals meet dietary guidelines and individual nutritional needs
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation protocols
• Assist in meal planning, ingredient preparation, and portion control
• Monitor food inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Adhere to residential care home meal schedules

Experience and Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler’s Permit/Certificate (Mandatory)
• Previous experience in a kitchen, preferably in healthcare or residential care
• Strong knowledge of food safety, nutrition, and hygiene standards
• Ability to prepare and serve meals on time
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work early morning shifts
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
