Are you great with people and quick on your feet? MaxMart Convenience seeks a dependable Cashier who thrives in a busy retail setting. From greeting customers with a smile to handling transactions with accuracy, you’ll be a key part of delivering top-tier service every shift.

Responsibility

• Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately
• Scan, price, and bag items for customers efficiently
• Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions with precision
• Provide courteous and prompt customer service at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout counter
• Reconcile end-of-day transactions and balance the till
• Assist with stock replenishment and shelf tidiness when needed
• Follow all company cash handling and security procedures

Experience and Qualifications

• High school degree
• Clean Police Record
• Strong numeracy and basic math skills
• Honest, punctual, and dependable work ethic
• Good verbal communication and customer interaction skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
• Friendly and approachable attitude with a team spirit
• Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
