Accounts Administrator

Job Description

Join Caribbean Alliance Insurance Co Ltd. as an Accounts Administrator and contribute to the smooth operation of its Dominica branch. This position suits a finance professional with strong accounting knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities accurately.

Responsibility

• Accurately process customer and broker payments in the insurance system.
• Collect insurance premiums from direct customers and brokers in line with the company’s payment plan.
• Complete and maintain updated billings, follow up on outstanding collections for installment plans, and provide reports on premium collection within specific deadlines.
• Assist with receiving, distributing, and monitoring incoming calls and messages for the branch.
• Assist with other general administrative requests as required for the upkeep of the branch.

Experience and Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Accounting desirable.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience desirable.
• Insurance background advantageous.
• Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage time well.
