Laurent River
Laurent River flows through the interior of Dominica, particularly within Saint Paul Parish. Rising in steep forested valleys, it winds close to the Dr. Nicholas Liverpool Highway and the historic Imperial Road, giving travellers repeated views of fast-flowing water and deep ravines. The river is framed by high peaks, with Morne Neg Marron in the foreground and Morne Trois Piton dominating the distant skyline. Along its course, it runs beside the River Deux Branches. It lies only a few kilometres from natural attractions such as Jacko Falls and the tranquil Emerald Pool, making it a scenic feature of Dominica’s interior landscape.
