Job Description
St. Nicholas University School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Research Associate in Veterinary Medicine to advance studies in animal health and related sciences. You’ll contribute to groundbreaking projects, support teaching faculty, and enhance the university’s growing reputation in veterinary research.
Responsibility
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in veterinary medicine and related sciences.
- Support teaching faculty with research-based projects.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from clinical and laboratory studies.
- Prepare manuscripts, reports, and publications for peer-reviewed journals.
- Assist in developing grant proposals and funding applications.
- Supervise and mentor student research projects.
- Present findings at academic conferences and seminars.
Experience and Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a closely related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of postdoctoral or professional research experience.
- Proven record of research output (publications, presentations, or grant work).
- Strong analytical and technical skills in laboratory and/or clinical research.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Commitment to advancing veterinary science through innovation and inquiry.
