Job Description
Achipelago Trading Ltd seeks a Purchasing Officer to manage sourcing, negotiate competitive deals, and keep inventory stocked efficiently. You’ll coordinate with departments, maintain accurate records, and ensure every purchase meets cost, quality, and delivery standards while supporting smooth operations.
Responsibility
- Source, negotiate, & purchase goods & services in line with quality, cost, & delivery targets
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
- Coordinate with departments to forecast procurement needs
- Monitor inventory levels & restock supplies as needed
Experience and Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is an asset
- Proven experience in a purchasing position of at least 2 years
- Strong negotiation & communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent time management and problem solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with inventory systems
- Clean Police Record
