As a Production Technician II, you’ll take charge of essential processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure production runs smoothly. Ideal for a seasoned food industry professional who thrives in precision-driven environments and values structure, safety, and results.
Responsibility
- Operate and monitor processing equipment for consistency and efficiency
- Assist in supervising production team members during shifts
- Maintain sanitation and safety protocols throughout the processing area
- Conduct quality control checks during production runs
- Identify and resolve minor mechanical and processing issues
- Ensure timely completion of daily production quotas
- Log production data and provide reports to supervisors
- Train or guide junior team members when necessary
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in the food industry
- Valid Food Handlers Permit
- CSEC passes in Mathematics and English
- Strong understanding of production safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and processing guidelines
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, disciplined, and able to work on flexible shifts
