You’ll oversee staff, monitor inventory, and ensure displays reflect freshness and quality. This position suits detail-oriented supervisors who thrive in fast-paced, customer-driven environments.

Responsibility

• Supervise daily operations of the produce department.
• Train, schedule, and oversee produce staff.
• Maintain stock rotation, product freshness, and attractive displays.
• Inspect produce shipments for quality and accuracy.
• Monitor department cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate restocking with suppliers.
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree in retail or management preferred).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in produce or grocery supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of produce handling and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Physically capable of lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
