Job Description

Fresh Market is looking for skilled Pantry Clerks to join our team in the kitchen. The ideal candidates will have experience handling food preparation, storage, and portioning in both hot and cold settings. This is a fast-paced environment, so we are looking for individuals who are team players and can work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibility

• Assist with hot and cold food preparation in accordance with kitchen guidelines
• Ensure proper portioning and food storage to maintain freshness and safety
• Follow sanitation and hygiene protocols in food handling and kitchen maintenance
• Support inventory management, including stocking and restocking kitchen supplies
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to maintain kitchen efficiency
• Assist in maintaining clean cooking stations and equipment
• Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, portion control, and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail in food handling and storage practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Team player with a willingness to follow kitchen procedures and safety regulations
