Job Description
Join InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa as a Night Supervisor and lead overnight operations with precision and calm authority. You'll ensure seamless guest experiences, resolve issues independently, and oversee check-ins and audits. This role is ideal for dependable professionals who thrive under pressure and excel at balancing leadership with service.
Responsibility
- Supervise all front office operations during the night shift
- Conduct and review night audits, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts
- Handle late check-ins/check-outs and resolve guest concerns promptly
- Monitor hotel systems and ensure security protocols are followed
- Support emergency response procedures during overnight hours
- Ensure all departments communicate effectively throughout the night
- Train and mentor night staff to uphold service standards
- Prepare reports for senior management on overnight performance
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in front office, preferably night audit or supervisory role
- Well versed with FO operating system
- Basic administrative and computer skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of hotel night audit procedures and systems
- Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight shifts
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Capable of overseeing late check-ins/check-outs and resolving issues independently
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols
- Personalized, attentive guest service, focused on satisfaction, including handling VIPs and special requests
- Effective collaboration and flexibility for diverse working hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality and professionalism in appearance and demeanor
- Good communication and passionate about customer service. Good command over written & spoken English; additional languages are an asset
