H.H.V Whitchurch & Co Ltd. is seeking a Meat Cutter who brings skill, focus, and efficiency to every task. From preparing fresh cuts to stocking chill rooms, you’ll help maintain the quality customers expect. This role is perfect for individuals committed to accuracy, safety, and excellent presentation in a structured work setting.

Responsibility

• Cut, portion, and price meats, fish, and cheese according to company standards and customer requests.
• Stock and maintain display cases, chill rooms, and freezers to ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of all equipment and work areas.
• Report equipment malfunctions and assist with ordering necessary supplies.
• Handle and store all frozen and chilled items safely and efficiently.

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid food handler’s permit is an asset
• Ability to work in cold environments and handle food safely
• Previous experience as a meat cutter, butcher, or in a perishable goods department preferred.
• Knowledge of meat and seafood handling, cutting, and storage procedures.
• Ability to operate cutting and grinding equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work in cold environments.
