Laborers for Goodwill Secondary Site

Job Description

Be part of a structured construction crew building the Goodwill Secondary School. China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) seeks labourers to assist with site preparation, debris removal, and the movement of tools and stock, while adhering to safety rules. Ideal for disciplined workers who listen attentively, communicate effectively, and adhere to procedures and PPE requirements.

• 6 positions available; immediate start
• Salary: $8/hour, $9/hour – paid fortnightly
• Hours: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm | 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm (2-hour lunch break)

Responsibility

• Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment
• Mix concrete/mortar; assist masons, carpenters, and other trades
• Keep work areas clean, clear, and safe; remove debris
• Set up/pack down site barriers, scaffolding components, and workstations (as directed)
• Follow supervisor instructions and report hazards promptly
• Support deliveries and stock staging to maintain workflow

Experience and Qualifications

• Valid ID (must be shown on site)
• Appropriate attire: long pants and closed shoes/boots
• Physically fit; able to lift, carry, bend, and stand for long periods
• Punctual, respectful, and able to follow directions and safety rules
• Previous site experience is an asset, not required
• Males only – immediate availability required.
