Responsibility

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food items
• Support chefs in preparing simple dishes or garnishes
• Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
• Follow health and safety standards at all times

Experience and Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler’s ID (mandatory)
• Dominica Social Security number (mandatory)
• Active local bank account (mandatory)
• Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or similar role preferred
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
