Job Description
Technology drives hospitality, and at Ocean Oasis Hotel Dominica, the IT Technician ensures everything runs seamlessly. You’ll manage hardware, software, and networks, troubleshoot issues quickly, and support staff and guests. This role requires proactive problem-solving, technical expertise, and dedication to keeping operations smooth in a fast-paced luxury environment.
Responsibility
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking systems
- Provide timely IT support to staff and guests
- Manage hotel telecommunications and internet infrastructure
- Ensure security protocols and data protection measures are upheld
- Install, configure, and upgrade systems as needed
- Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
- Support technology needs during hotel events or emergencies
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years’ IT support experience
- Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with hospitality technology systems an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Strong organizational skills with commitment to service excellence
